The "Covid Diairies" series are works based on my journal entries during the past eight months and counting. In the series, mundane daily chores in isolation in my apartment collide with catastrophic world news.
As if made of lard or butter, a miniature monument to Robert E. Lee is being melted down on the stove, the bubbling over suggesting tensions around the racism of confederate monuments reaching a boiling point leading to perhaps a subversive protest undertaken at home.
