A woman's hand appears to be crawling out of a conch shell as a reaction to the romanticized paintings of the drowned woman Ophelia from Shakespeare's Hamlet, the #metoo movement and violence toward women in general. The sculpture could offer a revenge scenario, a haunting, or an alternative narrative for Ophelia.
