Sinking Ship (Large Clipper Ship)
2012
Canvas, wood, paper, fabric, glue, acrylics
53 (w) x 64 (h) x 7 (d)
Inspired by the current political climate and Edgar Allen Poe’s short story “The Malestrom”, half a clipper ship painting seems to have hit a storm and is falling off the edge of the frame dripping on the floor. The materials of the painting are now turning into the structure of the boat.
