For INTERVENTIONS 3, using wire, paper-mache, wood, and canvas, Hegarty creates a scenario where a tree branch appears to be breaking through a bedroom wall and bursting through a painting of George Washington. The branch rips through the frame and canvas and pierces the severed head of George Washington making him appear to be growing a long nose, much like Pinocchio.

This independently organized project is organized and curated by Isidro Blasco and Piril Günduz in Crown Heights, New York, at the location: 1608 President St. Brooklyn, NY 11213
